Photo Workshop In Romania With Manuello Paganelli
Day 1 & 2: Arrival in Bucharest.
Arrive at Coanda International Airport in Bucharest and head to the hotel. At 4PM the group will meet at the lobby with master photographer Manuello Paganelli and our local Romanian photographer to socialize and go over the itinerary for the tour. From there we'll take a short walk, capturing the late afternoon light of the bustling metropolis, followed by a welcome dinner at a favorite local restaurant.
This beautiful capital is one of Europe's lesser-traveled due to the oppressive regime of Nicolae Ceausescu. Today, is the vibrant commercial power of Romania, making it a fantastic destination for anyone traveling to the country. Globalization has not yet fully taken hold, so Romania offers photo students a chance to capture and experience a blend of old and new Europe while delving into the local culture.
We will visit the famous Herastrau park to capture the coming and going of the citizens. Afterwards we'll head to the old town for lunch and capture the beauty of the crowds set against historical architecture
Day 3 & 4
Early rise, then go to the main train terminal for a trip to Brașov, the most visited city in Transylvania. This charming Saxon town with its Gothic-style buildings is full of history and photographic opportunity. We will also explore the Gothic Bran Castle, famously known as Dracula's Castle. Later we'll explore remote villages and different cultural minorities, and walk up the hills to remote hamlets surrounding Brasov

Trip to Merry Cemetery and the wooden whirlpools. We will also explore the villages and the fields with peasants at work (hay making, potato harvesting, plowing, etc, depending the season).
Trip to Cluj-Napoca to capture a late morning or early afternoon plane ride to Bucharest. Free time to be on your own and practice some of the lessons and new techniques learned. We will meet at the hotel at 7PM for a final group supper.
